Services and Capabilities

Architecturally Engineered Structures, PLLC

Architecturally Engineered Structures, PLLC, is a small business capable of providing services equal to,
and, hopefully, beyond those of any of our "larger" competitors.

We are fully capable of providing a complete building design using state of the art structural engineering
software to provide our clients with the most economical design. Further, our staff can provide the necessary
expertise to interpret the results from the design software and translate them into construction drawings
that effectively communicate the required structure to the contractors bidding and constructing the project.

AEStructures makes every effort to remain "State of the Art" in our day to day activities. This includes the
software we use. We use the latest version of RAM International's RAM Structural System, RAM Advanse,
and RAM Connection. With this software, we can provide a complete, three-dimensional design of a
structure using virtually any building material.

AEStructures uses AutoCAD 2006 drafting software. We can provide our work as AutoCAD "dwg" files,
Adobe "pdf" files, and AutoCAD "dwf" files.
AEStructures uses a number of other structural engineering software packages for our day to day work,
including stand alone solutions from Archon Engineering, PC, EnR Solutions, LLC, and WoodWorks Design
Office. In addition, we have co-developed a number of Excel Spreadsheets, with
a number of our peers, that greatly enhance our ability to do our work.

Experience

Architecturally Engineered Structures, PLLC

Our experience includes buildings of very nearly every type of construction and a wide variety of uses, sizes, and shapes.

Our staff participates in continuing education that we may stay current with the state of the art in structural engineering.

We are state of the art with regard to our computer aided design and computer aided drafting capabilities.  This allows us to quickly perform an economical design of a structure that we may investigate the constructability issues related to all projects.  (This, in our opinion, is where the “extras” hide.)  With this, our staff can accommodate any challenge that presents itself with regard to project schedule, “fast track” projects.

At this time, we are licensed to provide structural engineering services in the states of Kentucky, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, and Illinois (Structural Engineering).  Members of our staff have Model Law Engineer and Model Law Structural Engineer Status with the National Council of Examiners for Engineer and Surveyors.  Licensure for many other states can be obtained, quickly, on an as needed basis.

We endeavor to provide fair and reasonable proposals/fees that are appropriate for the project.
